A health app for a market where the clinic is far away

The problem

Breast cancer outcomes depend heavily on how early something is noticed, and in markets where a specialist appointment is expensive or distant, the gap is often not diagnosis but awareness and habit.

The product addresses that with a guided risk assessment, a journal for tracking symptoms and self-exams over time, a clinically reviewed library, and reminders.

The constraint

It ships to both app stores, which means two review processes and the content rules that apply to health applications. The audience is also not uniformly on fast connections or recent devices, so the app has to stay usable on modest hardware.

What is mine to claim, and what is not

The application, the backend behind it, and the assessment and journalling flows are mine.

The outcome statistics the product publishes, including its early-diagnosis improvement figure, its reach and its clinical partnerships, are the client's claims about their programme. They are not my engineering results and I do not present them as such. Two shipped app-store listings is evidence enough on its own.
